Feed Bucket

A feed bucket is a bucket that is used for horses and other farm animals such as pigs, cows, goats and sheep. Normally they are thick to add strength with a wider opening and they often have a flat back so they can fit nicely hooked onto a wall. These equine buckets come in just about any color and also come in many sizes. The larger yellow bucket shown above is the most common size. They are commonly used in stalls to hold water or feed and can be seen at nearly every horse show, whether english or western, at the trailers to supply horses with water.

The yellow bucket above is filled with water at a show.

Shown above is a smaller sized red bucket that I often use to carry feed out to my horses.
