Beowulf is was a spurisingly good epic. It had penty of action to keep my attention while still keeping a clear storyline. Beowulf seemed cocky while fighting Grendel and his mother but who wouldnt when you can defeat demons. The other Geats aside from Wiglaf do not deserve any credit for slaying Grendel, his mother or the dragon becasue they did not really do any good. There swords were useless agains Grendel, they could not get to Grendels mothers lair and they ran from the dragon. Beowulf did the right things by passing his throne and athority down to wiglaf.
